So last Monday I was invited to attend the launch of the new Spring Summer collection over at The Collective which was, to say the least, pretty awesome. We saw the new Commes De Garçons and Q by Alexander McQueen arrivals (the two highlights for me) along with Vivienne Westwood, Lagerfeld, Paul & Joe, Michael Kors, Love Moschino, Ted Baker and many more. The people over at The Collective were so great, they showed us around the store, introduced us to the collections, gave me pretty clothes to try out and fed me hummus. Oh, they also gave me a Michael Kors bag.
I've been mega busy for the past month because my submissions have begun and they're all back to back. As you can imagine I've been working day in and day out on various projects but I've been pretty sad for the previous three days because I found out that the estate we're living in (in Durban) doesn't allow residents to keep cats. So long story short, the estate is forcing us to give our cat up for adoption. IT'S JUST SO FRUSTRATING BECAUSE THEY THINK BRUCE WILL EAT ALL THE BIRDS BUT THEY DON'T REALIZE THAT HE'S JUST A FAT, LAZY, GOOD-FOR-NOTHING ADORABLE GINGER CAT. urgh.
